Used batteries can be hazardous and toxic to health and the environment if they are disposed of in the normal household waste. It is therefore preferable to recycle them, otherwise buy rechargeable batteries.
Today, only 30% of batteries are collected. The rest are thrown away.
In your cities and shops there ares Batriboxes: These are small containers dedicated to the collection of batteries.
You can find them in supermarkets, town halls or waste disposal centres.
