Can you introduce yourself?
My name is Stéphanie. I am 24 years old and I work at Service Innovation Group since November 2014.
-
What was your educational background?
I did a secretarial BEP followed by a professional secretarial Bac. Then I wanted to specialise in the medical field with a training course that lasted almost a year.
Then, to broaden my skills, I started a BTS in business administration until I found a job with SIG.
-
Before SIG, what was your experience of starting out in the world of work?
Initially, I worked as a multi-skilled team member in various fast-food restaurants. Working part-time allowed me to combine study and work.
I have very good memories of these professional experiences because with hindsight I think that they gave me qualities that are essential to evolve in a professional environment: open-mindedness, respect for hierarchy... But above all I learned to communicate and work with all generations.
-
How did you end up at Service Innovation Group?
I was looking for a job at the end of my schooling and applied to SIG as a part-time administrative assistant on a fixed-term contract.
After a group recruitment session, my application was accepted and I joined SIG.
In August 2015 I was promoted to Assignment Officer merchandising full time and on permanent contracts.
-
What are your daily tasks?
As an assignment officer, I offers one-off assignments to our merchandisers for different brands.
My work is mainly done on the phone: I am the contact person for the heads of sectors and for our stakeholders.
My mission is also to briefing our merchandisers about their tasks and instructions. I also contact them again after their interventions to make sure that everything went well and to do a follow-up if necessary. feedback to our customers.
-
What do you like about your job?
I enjoy the daily contact with our stakeholders and clients. The satisfaction with the work done and represent GIS in a positive way is in leitmotif.
The teamwork between all departments, l'mutual aid and the fact that everyone takes the time to provide a solution to the other makes me want to do better every day.
-
What do you think are the 3 qualities necessary for your work?
The patienceon respect and theefficiency.
-
Finally, what are your plans for the future?
I like my job. I feel good in this company and hope to continue working with it for many years to come.
