You have celebrated 15 years of collaboration with our company, can you explain your career path to us ?
I came in as a data entry operator for one year and then moved on to take on the role of manager for the Paris region, where I assigned workers to missions, trained and monitored the facilitators.
I was then offered a position as operational coordinator. The objective = to follow all customer operations at the operational level, i.e. from allocation to results.
I then moved on to become a Client Manager, where I was given a client portfolio for commercial follow-up.
For a few years now, I have left sales to concentrate on managing the operational teams (i.e. the Field Managers and the Call Centre Merchandising).
-
You went on maternity leave, how was your return? ?
It's hard to get back on track after 8 months away... Some things are forgotten but others come back very quickly
We give you a course and there you go again!
-
Let's go back a bit, how did the company work 15 years ago in your department ?
We had minitels to give his results! LOL. No kidding, society has changed a lot in 15 years
I came to a department of 4 people with only 1 PC! Now it's unthinkable!
We called each time clock to check the presence of our workers... One person sent all the faxes manually for each intervention.
-
What has been your proudest achievement? ?
Managing 12 people is a real challenge!
I have spent many wonderful years accompanying the whole team with real moments of joy and real challenges.
-
Can you explain your new role to us ?
I am now very happy to be able to continue to support the Merchandising Assignment Managers and the Animation Field Managers, but this time by managing their Manager, Audrey Maggio and Frederic Thuiller, respectively Head of the Assignment Teams and Field Managers.
This new organisation allows me to free up time to devote to the overall management of the business and, above all, to the implementation of new digital tools for the teams and field workers. The days of the minitel are long gone!!!!
-
Why now ?
Because we are in the 2.0 era. We have to react now to change our working methods and ensure that SIG meets the needs of its customers as well as the needs of our field employees. This is a major challenge!
The whole company will be impacted as it will be involved at all levels. All departments will have to adopt and appropriate new tools and technologies.
The electronic signature is our 1er challenge, but we have many more ideas for moving towards global 'Digitalisation'.
-
What are the benefits for stakeholders ?
There are several. For example, for electronic signature... A worker will no longer need to send back his work contract by mail = saving time, security and comfort. And yes, he will always have his contract with him when he is working.
Our goal = to make 100% digital for more reactivity, flexibility!
-
Why do you think SIG chose you for this position? ?
Through my career, I have been able to approach all the stages of a mission. I know the operational and commercial needs, but also the human ones.
-
Conclusion...
It's a big challenge, but so motivating. Of course, I'm not the only one who decides on the company's digital strategy. All employees are involved. I therefore invite all employees, both permanent and temporary, to come up with ideas in this direction.
Thank you Karine, we wish you a very good life at SIG, keeping your good mood and your offbeat humour.
