Marjorie, how long have you been working as an animator?
I have been working in animation since 1998. I have carried out several missions in the interim during my studies and then I took over in 2006 to make it my profession.
What do you like about working as an animator?
This job is a constant personal and professional challenge: new operations, new locations, new clients and always different objectives.
What made you decide to talk to your manager about this? GIS region ?
I decided to talk to the regional manager so that together we could establish the limits of my disability without accepting an assignment that would weaken my health.
Did you feel listened to when the subject was raised?
Yes, my SIG advisor is always a good listener and the subject was easy to discuss. Communication is very important in a professional relationship and SIG is doing its job perfectly so that I can easily do mine.
Would you have a message for people in a particular situation? disability ? Do you have any advice for them?
My MDPH recognition has never been an obstacle to my professional career but rather an asset for the protection of my health. All the employers who have received me so far, whether for an interview or a contract, have understood this. We work together with a framework adapted to my medical situation with the aim of achieving the best possible results. the objectives of the profession.
Thanks to Marjofor his testimony
